Day 1 – Wine Tasting Tour
Explore the Cape Winelands graced with amazing views and taste some of the best wines the region has to offer. Taste wine from each of the 2 best wine regions in South Africa.
Paarl
The valley of Paarl, the biggest city of the Winelands, is known to be the rival of Stellenbosch. It is a town with a hot climate, perfect to produce dessert red wine, with a taste more sumptuous and stronger. Red wine overrides the production of white wine in South Africa.
Drakenstein Prison
The Drakenstein Prison is situated between Franshhoek and Paarl. It is the prison where Nelson Mandela spent the last part of his sentence, while he was fighting against the Apartheid. Even if the stop is short, it is haunting to think about his long walk for freedom.
Stellenbosch
Located inland, Stellenbosch is a charming historical town also well known for its University. Go exploring the streets, walking under centenarian trees and discovering the surprising Cape-Dutch architecture. It will offer you a great overview of the heart of the South African wine growing because it hosts the biggest vineyards. The climate is temperate, which allowed the production of red wine and dry white wine.

Day 2 – Franschhoek Wine Tram
Visit one of the most beautiful wine regions in the world. Franschhoek is one of those enchanting towns in the Cape Winelands that you can never get enough of. Nothing less than awe-inspiring mountain views, luscious vineyards and a charmingly European vibe to the restaurants and shops.

The Wine Tram Experience is a perfect way to explore the Franschhoek region as you will be visiting a selection of wine estates showcasing a separate part of the Franschhoek Valley. The experience allows you to curate and plan your own day. You get to choose how long you spend at each spot, where you eat, where you drink and the activities you partake in.
Day 3 – Big 5 Sunset Safari
Embarking from the picturesque Cape Winelands, our tour takes us on a captivating journey towards the Garden Route, renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. In the late afternoon, we’ll venture into the heart of the Garden Route for an exhilarating Sunset 4×4 safari. Buckle up as we traverse rugged terrains, encounter elusive wildlife, and witness the African sun setting over the horizon, creating a truly memorable and immersive experience.
Big 5 Sunset Safari
Enjoy a Sunset Game Drive in an open Land Rover with your experienced game ranger who will bring you sightings of lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, cheetah and more. Game Drives will take between 2 and 3 hours depending on how much time is spent at each sighting.
Enjoy a buffet dinner with options of game meat too, for those who would like to try it out!

Day 4 – Big 5 Sunrise Safari & Mossel Bay
The next day of our incredible tour begins with a breath-taking sunrise safari, immersing us in the awakening wilderness of the Garden Route. We’ll have the opportunity to spot elusive animals in their natural habitat and witness nature’s morning symphony. Later on the day, we’ll continue our journey towards Mossel Bay, where we’ll have the chance to explore historical landmarks, indulge in fresh seafood delights and soak in the coastal beauty before bidding farewell to this enchanting destination.
Mossel Bay
Mossel Bay, also known as Mosselbaai, is not only known for its rich history and pristine blue flag beaches. The destination offers a wide variety of museum that contribute significantly to this town’s history including the Maritime Museum, the Granary, the Shell Museum and the Cultural History Museum as well The Post Tree which was used by early Portuguese explorers as a post office. Mossel Bay is both the place where modern human behaviour evolved some 165 000 years ago and the place where Europeans first landed on South African shores.
Day 5 – Cango Caves & Ostrich Farm
Explore one of the world’s great natural wonders, sculptured by nature throughout the decades. With fascinating rock formations, cellar-like chambers, and the low passageways – be prepared to crawl, duck and squeeze your way through the Cango Caves.
Cango Caves
Discover the fascinating underground world of Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn. Marvel at the intricate limestone formations that have been sculpted over millions of years, creating a mesmerizing labyrinth of chambers and tunnels. Explore the awe-inspiring dripstone formations, ancient stalactites, and stalagmites as you delve deeper into the mysterious depths of the caves, immersing yourself in a captivating subterranean adventure.
Ostrich Farm
Experience the unique charm of Oudtshoorn’s Ostrich Farm, where you’ll get up close and personal with these magnificent birds. Learn about their fascinating behavior, witness their impressive speed during ostrich races and even have the opportunity to interact with these gentle giants, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Day 6 – Elephant Walk & Cape Agulhas
Before bidding farewell to the Garden Route and making our way towards Cape Town, we have two incredible experiences lined up. First, we’ll embark on an unforgettable Elephant Interaction & Walk, where we’ll have the opportunity to connect with these majestic creatures on a personal level, learning about their behavior and conservation efforts. Afterward, we’ll visit Cape Agulhas, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans converge, marking the southernmost tip of Africa. We’ll take in the awe-inspiring scenery, visit the historic lighthouse, and reflect on the beauty and significance of this iconic landmark. These final moments in the Garden Route will leave us with lasting memories of our remarkable journey.
Elephant Walk and Interaction
A quick drive to a nearby Game Lodge to have an Elephant experience including a quick 4×4 ride before the elephant walking, elephant feeding and elephant interaction. Our experienced guides will introduce you to the gentle giants for an informative session as you get to walk, interact with them and feed them a healthy snack bucket. Bring comfortable walking shoes, a calm and friendly attitude and a giant love for elephants. Ample photo opportunities!
Cape Agulhas
The southernmost part of Africa – is a rocky headland in Western Cape, South Africa. The dividing line between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans according to the International Hydrographic Organization.
Day 7 – Day at Leisure
Today, travellers can revel in the blissful atmosphere and savor moments of relaxation. With no scheduled activities, the day offers an opportunity to explore the local markets and shops, indulging in a leisurely stroll to find those perfect souvenirs that will forever remind them of this unforgettable journey.
Day 8 – Table Mountain & Mandela Freedom Tour
Spend a day exploring one the members of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites as well as South Africa’s very iconic landscape – Table Mountain.
Ferry Ride
The ferries depart from the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront. You will disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour situated on the east coast of the Island and take a short walk to buses that will transport you to all the historical sites around the Island.
Robben Island (Mandela Prison Tour)
You will meet your Tour Guide when you have boarded the busses. A Robben Island Tourist Guide will conduct the prison tour. This is part of our integrated tour model. They are fully conversant and knowledgeable about the Island’s multi-layered 500-year-old history. The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe’s house, the Bluestone quarry, the army and navy bunkers and the Maximum Security Prison where thousands of South Africa’s freedom fighters were incarcerated for years. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell.
Cableway Ride
Take the five-minute cable car trip to the top of Table Mountain, 1 089 meters above Cape Town, and explore the summit (The Cableway is wheelchair accessible, and yes, some parts at the top are too). This is a great spot to sit and soak up the commanding 360-degree views of Cape Town, Table Bay, the nearby peaks of the surrounding mountains and the rest of the Table Mountain National Park, in which the Cableway is situated.
Table Mountain Top
Hit one of three hiking trails that start at the Upper Cable Station and explore the summit further. Table Mountain is part of a World Heritage Site, an important part of the Cape Floristic Region and the single richest floristic area in the world. There is a lot of fynbos vegetation on the mountain, with over 1 460 different species of plants. There are also plenty of dassies, lizards, insects and birdlife to be seen. You’ll find our self-service restaurant, Table Mountain Café, offering a range of food and drinks, snacks, desserts and wines. A selection of gifts and curios are on sale at the Shop at the Top. Pop in and find something special to remind you of your visit to the highest point in Cape Town.
Day 9 – V&A Waterfront & 14-Dish African Culinary Experience
Today’s itinerary takes us to the vibrant V&A Waterfront, a bustling hub of shopping, dining and entertainment. We’ll explore the lively waterfront promenade, visit unique shops and boutiques, and perhaps enjoy a leisurely boat ride or visit the Two Oceans Aquarium. Next, we’ll venture into the Silo District, a cultural and artistic enclave filled with galleries, museums and trendy eateries. In the evening, we’ll indulge in a delectable 14-Dish African Dinner, savoring the rich flavors and diverse culinary traditions of the continent, creating a memorable culinary experience to conclude our day.
V&A Waterfront and The Silo District
From cutting-edge art to gourmet food and world-class shopping, the V&A Waterfront has something for everyone. Whether you’re attending the latest exhibition at Zeitz MOCAA, browsing the latest African design at Southern Guild, the Silo district is a space where all creative expression is welcomed and celebrated. It is also home to restaurants, bars, hotels and blue-chip office space.
14-Dish African Culinary Experience
A vacation to Cape Town is never complete without visiting the destination’s hidden gems. You will be enjoying a 14-Dish African Dinner. Each dish is a traditional cuisine from the diverse cultures that Africa has to offer. You will also participate in a djembe drumming session. Djembe is a goblet-shaped hand drum that originates in West Africa. You will be shown the different the different sounds of the drum as well as some easy instrumentals.
At the end of the night, get a unique traditional face painting. In the ancient days, the face painting was done to symbolize various things like connecting one to their ancestors.
Day 10 – Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope & Boulders Beach
Explore the entire Cape Peninsula and its iconic gems including the penguin colony, Chapman’s Peaks’ world-famous scenic drive and Cape Point National Park.
The Cape Peninsula Tour will take you along the Atlantic Seaboard, passing the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay – which have been awarded Blue Flag status. These beaches offer pristine white sand and beautiful clear water (if slightly cold), that have made them very popular with locals and visitors alike. The tour continues, passes the Twelve Apostles Mountains on its way to Hout Bay, then continue along Chapman’s Peak Drive.
In Hout Bay – a small fishing village often jokingly referred to as “The Republic of Hout Bay” by the locals; you will find a pristine beach, fresh fish market and plenty of restaurants to choose from, you will also have the option to visit Seal Island – where you’ll see hundreds of seals, sunbathing on the huge island rock and cavorting in the water.
Chapman’s Peak Drive – A very dramatic and windy coastal drive which 9km along South Africa’s Atlantic Coast, some say “the most scenic drive of their lives”.
Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve is one of the most famous landmarks in Cape Town, and for good reason. Situated on the very tip of the peninsula, with the Indian Ocean on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, the area spans a landscape that has rugged cliffs, lush fynbos, and vast open spaces – no Cape Town tour is complete without a visit to Cape Point.
Penguin Colony & Simon’s Town – where a parade of penguins waddles between rocks or on the white sandy beach. Watching these adorable flightless birds is diverting and very calming for both young and old.
The Cape Peninsula Tour will continue along the Main Road of the quaint hamlet Kalk Bay – nestled between False Bay on one side and the mountain on the other. Along Kalk Bay Main Road lies a host of veritable treasure troves, from antique shops to costume shops, bakeries, restaurants and plenty more.
Continuing further to Muizenberg – a world renowned surfing spot; where locals and visitors alike, come together in appreciation of the wonders of the sea. Shark-spotters keep a close lookout for any potential danger roaming the bay.
